What a Fiat windscreen usually carries
Before we quote a Fiat, we work out what is actually in the glass. On current Fiat models that usually means rain sensor on some models.
Behind the mirror sits a single forward-facing camera mounted behind the glass, just ahead of the mirror. The windscreen has to carry the matching bracket and a clear optical zone in front of the lens, and where that camera drives any assistance feature it is recalibrated after the glass goes in.
Fiat's small cars and the Ducato van sit at opposite ends of the range, and the van glass is a two-person lift.

Where a Fiat carries a camera behind the glass, replacing the windscreen moves it, and the system has to be recalibrated afterwards.
Where a Fiat does carry a forward-facing camera, the same rule applies as on any other make: the glass has to be right and the camera has to be recalibrated afterwards. We confirm which applies to your car when you book, not when we arrive.
If your Fiat has no camera behind the glass, the job is simpler and quicker, and we will tell you that rather than adding a calibration you do not need.

Can you replace a Fiat windscreen at my home or work?
Yes, and that is how we do most Fiat jobs. We bring the glass, the urethane and the tools to the vehicle. We need room to open both front doors and somewhere reasonably sheltered if it is raining.
Does my Fiat need the camera recalibrated after a new windscreen?

What decides the price of a Fiat windscreen?
On a Fiat it is mostly what is built into the glass: rain sensor on some models and the like narrow the part down, and a narrower part costs more. The build year and grade decide the rest. Our cost guide explains each factor.
Can a chip in a Fiat windscreen be repaired instead?
